Here, experienced paddlers, newer surf addicts, recreational paddlers and elite athletes share the same water, the same laughs and the same experiences.
A place where world champions, experienced paddlers and newer paddlers share the same beach, the same surf and the same stories afterwards.
You can join for one day — or the full weekend.
Kira Bester and Rosie Edwards are a big part of Summer Vibes 2026.
But the weekend is powered by a bigger team.
Our Danish coaches and safety crew bring real experience from ocean racing, downwinds and Danish conditions — and help turn that into great experiences on the water.
That means:
• small groups
• strong safety focus
• plenty of time on the water
• room for both coaching and free paddling
When conditions line up, we go for the good runs.
When they don’t, we find other great ways to get on the water.

Many come alone, others bring their club friends. You'll quickly become part of the community on water and on land.

All participants will have a small group session with World Champion Kira Bester or U23 World Champion Rosie Edwards.

Choose from sessions with Danish coaches focused on technique, surf skills, speed and confidence on the water.

When wind and waves play, we organize downwinds and Freak Runs in the Limfjord.

Meet other participants, row your own trips and spend time on the water between planned activities.

Hang out at the clubhouse, eat together and meet paddlers from all over the country, and don't forget the Summer Vibes Party

Tent at the club, nearby camping or your own solution — choose what suits you best.

Breakfast, lunch and communal meals are optional, so you can focus on your time on the water.

Tracking, check-in and clear safety systems give you the freedom to make the most of your weekend.
The schedule may change based on wind, waves and safety conditions. This gives us the flexibility to choose the best possible conditions — instead of following a rigid schedule.

World champion in U23 ocean racing 2025 - and first ever British world champion in the discipline.
Rosie grew up on the Cornish coast and started surf lifesaving at age 11. As a teenager, she was introduced to surf skiing through her coach - and has since developed into one of the sport's most exciting young profiles.

She now spends much of the year in South Africa to train in stronger ocean conditions and develop in some of the world's best environments.
At the 2025 World Championships in Durban, she won U23 gold and was third fastest woman overall.
But perhaps more importantly:
Rosie herself talks about the joy of the sport, the ocean and the desire to get more women into surf skiing.
This fits Summer Vibes quite well.
You don't just meet a world champion.
You meet an athlete who still loves the sport - and wants to share it further.
Reigning world surf ski ocean racing champion and one of the world's most dominant downwind paddlers right now.
Kira hails from Cape Town and was introduced to the sport through the legendary Cape Point Challenge and the environment that has made places like Fish Hoek and Miller's Run known throughout the surf ski world.
She started relatively late in the sport at the age of 19 - but developed extremely quickly and became part of the strong Orca community in South Africa.

Aside from surf skiing, she also competes in lifesaving and surfing - something she points to as a key reason for her ability to read the ocean and make quick decisions in complex conditions.
She is also part of the unique culture around Fish Hoek and Miller's Run, where world-class athletes, local athletes and new paddlers often share the same water. That culture is a big part of why South Africa has set the standard in international surf skiing - and something we want to pass on in Struer.
She is also building her own coaching business and working hard to make a living from the sport.
In Struer, you won't just meet a world champion; you'll meet an athlete from the environment many surf skiers dream of experiencing.
Summer Vibes is not built by one organizer or team.
It is created by coaches, safety people, volunteers, clubs and paddlers from all over the country who help make the weekend work on the water and on land.
